I need to connect to an Oracle 8i database residing on a file server at my office. I've installed the personal client, I have an outside IP address for the file server pointing to the server where the database is, on port 1521, but I can't connect to it using Net8 Easy Config. My guess is that it ain't that easy! Could use some direction on where to get the info to get this working. Thanks for your assistance!
