Running 8.05 on RH7.0 and my listener seems to be broken - I can connect to the DB from the oracle account only - all other accounts give a 1034 - ORACLE not Available error - any suggestions? I've checked read permissions on the listener.ora file and they're ok - I'm thinking of trying to re-install the listener from the cd (Net 8.0) - does anyone see any problem with this?
