Hi,
I already had Oracle 8.1.5 server installed in my m/c. I tried to install 'Admin' portion of Oracle 9IAS,which was successful.But after restarting some dll files of server was corrupted. Hence, I tried to reinstall Oracle 8.1.5 once again, afresh,though, it was successful, but after restarting the m/c, I faced the same error.
Then I cleaned up the m/c from 'Oracle', such that, m/c has no Oracle s/w.
Now while I was trying to reinstall Oracle 8.1.5 server I am not able to go beyond the window of 'Typical 705MB' Universal Installer during installation process, 'Universal Installer' just vanishes.
Does any body have idea of what is happening at this stage?
Can any body help me to reinstall server in my m/c?
