Hi all!!

I have changed hard disk on my server and copied all the datafiles from old to this one. All path are kept the same but oracle says ORA-03113. Then I mounted old hard disk being another device(/dev/hdb instead /dev/hdc) and got the same error.
Then I trid to mount old disk being an old device name /dev/hdc and got good working. What is happening? Why oracle's work depends of what device name the disk was? I see that oracle don't look what is the name of harddisk's device but just path to datafiles.
