Hi,
I am sure I am not the first to do this:
How do I shutdown an oracle database automatically (and cleanly) when NT reboots and bring it back again in startup open mode once the NT server is running??

I assume it is related to the Control Panel services but setting both the oracle-service and oracle-start to automatic does not have the desired effect ie the database is not open after a reboot. My background is Unix therefore any help appreciated.........
