Hi,

I am completly new with Oracle and would be very pleased if someone could give me a solution to the following problem.
I use the Net8 Assistent on NT4 with service pack 6.
If I try to test the service, I get the following message:

The test was not sucessful.
ORA-12500: TNS: The listener could not start
a server process.

I appreciate it, if anyone could help me. Lot of thanks in advance for your response.
