Hi Poonam,
Oracle 8i enterprise will not run under windows 98, nor will it install. So you probably installed the client. So you need to either point it to a server running Oracle 8i Enterprise or some other version of Oracle or you need to install Personal Oracle; You will need to set up you Net8 Assistant to point to your database. There is a lot more that you would need to know then space and time will allow me to say here. A good DBA class and dba book are a must.
