You may enter aN Item revison when you MANUALLY open a work order.
But if you implement work orders through Planners workbench,you'll find only work orders for the latest implemented revision (this is the way MRP works).
Try to convince your user this is the logical way to work.

: You can define revision numbers for items, bills, and routings.

: Apparently, these numbers are all indepdendent of one another.

: You receive an item into inventory based on the revision number on the item master.

: But I see no way to enter a job to build a specific revision level of an item. The job uses specific rev levels of a bill and routing, but nowhere do I see the link to the rev level of the item master.

: Did Oracle blow revision control guys?
