When you say what each patch effects what do you mean? Do you mean what new e.g. packages or forms the patch contains or do you mean specifically what has changed in a package or a form.

To know what source code is included in a patch simply look in the c driver file e.g. c123456.drv assuming your bug number is 123456. Once you have located this information then you know what files are in the driver and there versions (very important), then simply do a simple diff between the file in the c driver and what is in your appl_top.
