Is it possible to co-ordinate two detail blocks ?

We have a master block and two detail blocks on the same master block.
We have a situation where in we need to co-ordinate the detail blocks also. We tried to establish a master-detail relationship between the two detail blocks but only the first record gets populated in the detail section.

Is there some other way we could achieve this. Plz. help.
